I was listening to a talk radio show this week and a caller was complaining about these “millenniums”. Not only did he get the name wrong, but probably the time frame. The U.S. Census bureau does not define any generation other than Baby Boomer (1946-1964). Popular culture, researchers, and the media have made up Millenials, Gen Y, Centennials, etc. I have seen the “official” Millennial birth years vary by as much as ten years. The term has been overused to the point that it is laughable. So here’s a laugh.
Check out this great video about how to manage Millenials in the workplace. It pokes fun at many of the stereotypes we hear.
